Meet our DT

Happy Saturday crafting friends.!
It is with great excitement and pleasure that I would like to introduce you to our new Design Team for the coming term.  They will begin their term with a bloghop, so look out for that. It'll take place on January 2, 2019 and it's guaranteed to have loads of inspiration along the way.

Joining us are these fabulous crafters.

Billie
"My name is Billie A. we live in SW Washington state out in the country and have 5 children between us and grandchildren and great grandchildren.  We have three four legged babies. I love retirement life as there is more time to create.   I have quite a few different crafts from quilting, crochet, x stitching and some paintings. My heart is in paper crafting and creating cards. I love to bring the images to life.  I love working with copics, paints, pencils and zig markers.  I am excited to be on Crafty Gals Corner design team.

Carol
"This is me! I am excited to be part of this design team.
I am a newlywed (since 2017) and a new mom! I used to work for a major airline but now devote my time to my small human. I speak several languages fluently and sometimes incorporate that into my crafts! I love quilling, scrapbooking, and more recently, card making. I am always looking for new ways to expand my creativity."

Connie
"Hello, I'm Connie from Connie Can Crop and I am thrilled to be a new DT member here at Crafty Gals Corner. I live in Southern California with my amazing husband of 21 years and my young men (20 and 17). I have 3 fur babies..my cats!! I am also a supervisor for UPS which keeps me very busy, but don't worry I still find plenty of time to craft!
I hope you enjoy what I share and that I can inspire you in some small way. I am an avid scrapbooker and crafty person who enjoys sharing my talent with others by attending crops, teaching classes, and selling my creations. I have been crafting my entire life thanks to my mom and have been scrapbooking for over 21 years. I enjoy creating cards, and other paper projects, coloring, sewing, cooking, and my new passion Diamond painting. I am excited and eager to make new Crafty friends!

Jana
"My adventure with paper crafting was literally dumped on my living room floor.  My daughter and daughter-in-law brought to mom 4 big totes filled with stamping up and close to my heart items.  This started my paper crafting addiction.  Hello, i'm Jana Forrest.  I live in a little town in the Willamette Valley in Oregon.  I'm married to 'The Bob' and have one grown daughter + daughter-in-law.  Retired from the IT business.  I love just about any sort of crafting, gardening, cooking and I really love to wash windows.  Nice to meet you!"

Jeanie
"I am the wife of a wonderful man, Charles, of going on 44 years. I am also a mother of 2 (Amy and Keith) and a grandmother of 3 (Caleb, Isaac, and Moriah), one of which just graduated High School last night. I’m very proud of him! My husband is retired Army and recently from American Railcar Industries. I am currently serving as treasurer for our church.
I have always loved to craft in some way, mostly with colored pencils and sewing, but with the busyness of life, I got away from that. That is, until 1997, when I got into scrapbooking and found a new form of art and memories. I was a consultant with a scrapbooking company, but about 2 years ago, I saw another form of paper skills from YouTubers….mini albums! I decided to try my hand at that, and I was hooked! Papercrafting became my new passion."

Judy M.
"I have been a scrapbooker since 1998 when my oldest daughter was born. Ever since then I have expanded what crafts I do which now includes scrapbooking, cardmaking, mixed media, jewelry making home decor projects and sewing (ok sewing is relatively new so I am still working on improving that one). I was always a hobbyist , but this past December I decided to really do these things full time, which is when I started my blog in earnest and started applying for design teams. I am having truly the most fun I have ever had."

Judy V.
"Hi my name is Judy! I am a Louisiana native living in Colorado, where my husband of 30 years and I have raised our son and daughter. Monday through Friday you'll find me working full time as Director of Finance for a large Optometry practice but on the weekend you'll find me in my craft room where I do a little bit  of scrapbooking, a little bit of jewelry making and a whole lot of card making! My style is mainly Classic & Elegant and I like to do a little bit of Cute & Fun. I started my blog, Created Just 4 U, about 2 years ago and love to visit other crafter's blogs for inspiration. Currently I serve on the Design Teams of 5 challenge blogs and 3 online retailers."

Kleri
"I am in my late thirties and I come from
Greece but the last few years I have been living permanently in the UK.
Since card making and scrapbooking are not very common in Greece, I
started my crafting journey just a couple of years ago. However it was
love at first sight and since then I haven't stopped creating. I craft
something on a daily basis even if it's just something small. To take
part into challenges I have created my own blog."

Lena - DT Coordinator
"I was born in Lisbon, Portugal but raised in Durban, South Africa. We have now called Pearland, Texas, home for the last 20 years. I'm a stay at home mom who has been married to a wonderful man for 33 years, and I have two great children, a daughter who is 28 and a son who is 22, and two grandbabies, Emma who's 4 and my little guy, Derek who is 18 months old. Although I have always enjoyed scrapbooking, it wasn't until a few of years ago that I fell in love with paper crafting. Recently I've added stitching on cards to my cardmaking adventures.  My other hobbies are reading and baking and spending time with the family. We all enjoy travelling and visiting new places."

Rae Ann
"I am an army wife, mom of four (mostly) grown kids, and currently living in Pensacola, FL in the US. I have been stamping for almost 15 years now, but I have been a crafter forever!  I remember making Christmas gifts for my family at a young age and being so excited about doing it all by myself.  Discovering digital stamps and the online crafting world has been an amazing journey!  I am so excited to be joining this team and creating project to inspire you!"

Tracy
"Hi There!  My name is Tracy and I live in Victoria, Australia.  Yes, I live Down Under in The Lucky Country and I am so lucky to be married to the most wonderful man in the world, who also happens to be a pretty awesome crafting enabler too.  I have been creative for as long as I can remember and have tried many different crafts, from the traditional cooking & dressmaking while growing up to pottery, macramé and much, much more over the years.  My current addiction is cardmaking, with a little scrapbooking and some off-the-page projects on the side.  I started cardmaking a few years ago.  What started as a distraction from the aches and pains associated with being struck down suddenly with chronic Rheumatoid Arthritis has become an essential part of my life.  I love to create and learning new techniques and I look forward to sharing my creative adventures with you."

Samantha - DT Owner
Hi! My name is Samantha, and I am the owner of the Crafty Gals Corner Challenge blog.  I started this blog 5 years ago, after being on several DT's I thought it might be fun to run my own.  Since creating this blog, I now have 2 beautiful babies and have started a full time clothing business.  My husband is a USMC veteran who currently works in construction.  Although I have to take a step back from running the blog on my own, my mom now does a lot of the day-to-day tasks, I still like to check in and see all the beautiful projects created!

Now that you have met the team, feel free to click on their names to go take a peek at their personal blogs and leave them some welcoming bloggie love :-)
Last but not least, I would like to thank everyone who applied to be on our DT. There were so many amazing and creative entries that it was really hard to pick just 4. We look forward to your application when it's time for our next DT call.

Thanks for stopping by!
